Our favorite time of year - Baseball Season! We had two boys playing on select baseball teams this summer so we were at a baseball diamond almost every night of the summer. Sean made the New Berlin Heat team this year and played under the expertise of Coach Gary. Sean was the only first grader to make a team of all second graders.
He came a long way in a year - He learned a ton, got stronger and had a great time! The Heat had some exciting games during the season but they most memorable was winning 3rd place in the Kettle Moraine tournament. It was really fun to watch him play and get better as a baseball player!!!

Alex had a successful baseball season as well on the U-10 New Berlin Magic. He plays on a really special team that is compiled of talented boys that can play baseball and are all really good friends. They had some exciting games as well this season.
They won the NB Magic tournament in a nail biter against the Muskego Storm. We were down 4-1 and came back to win 5-4 to win the championship. I've never screamed so loud! The most memorable tournament of the season came in Waupun. We were down by 3 runs in the last inning. Our batter steps up to the plate with 2 outs and bases loaded. He knocks one over the fence for a walk-off grand slam to advance us in the tournament to eventually win the championship. The best part was that the boys received custom-made rings at Miller Park before a Brewers game by winning this tournament. That blog post will be coming!
