Circus and more...

I think it's possible we might have crammed a little too much into this weekend for the kids.  We went to Grandpa & Grandma Michna's house on Saturday night for some yummy Chinese food.  The boys had fun hanging out with Uncle Mark and Aunt Ann :)  We went to visit our friends, Lauren & Ryan, on Sunday morning and had such a fun play date at their house.  It's great to see the kids get along so well.  We ran some errands and played outside.  Then Dad took Alex to the Circus tonight while I stayed home with my lil' man, Sean.  I think Alex was so blown out from our busy weekend that he finally crashed at the Circus and could barely stay awake.  He told me all about the cool animals and funny clowns when he got home so I know he still enjoyed the show :)

18 Months!

Seanie had his 18 month checkup at the beginning of this month.  He weighs 25lb 4oz and is 32 1/2 inches tall.  The doctor said he is in the 50th percentile for height and weight and he is right where he should be with all his skills at 18 months.  Sean is starting to talk more.  He said "I love you" over and over today which just melted my heart :)

Alex has been such a great big brother lately.  When the doctor came in to see Sean, he asked Alex how he was.  Alex replied, "Good, but Sean's going to freak out" referring to the shots he was about to get.  Alex rubbed his back and held his hand during all the pokes.  The boys have been playing incredible together and definitely formed their own unique, brother bond.  Seanie looks up to his big brother and Alex takes pride in being a leader.

Wisconsin Dells

We had a fun, relaxing time in the Dells this past weekend with all the cousins.  We stayed at Mount Olympus and the kids had a blast at the indoor water park and amusement park.  The big kids were able to do more by themselves and it's fun to watch Alex try new things.  He loved the water as usual and, to our surprise, loved the rides at the amusement park.  Seanie and Anna loved the water too and even had their own baby water slides to enjoy.  The kids were full of energy so we didn't have much down time but it was all worth it to see their smiling faces all weekend!

All ready for the water park!

Papa's Birthday!

We gathered up all the troops and had fun celebrating Papa Bob's birthday on Saturday!  The cousins were SO happy to see each other and played their hearts out.  We all had a great time, especially since the day belonged to such a special man in our lives.  Happy Birthday to the best Dad and Papa we could ask for!  We love you!!

Lay it on me pretty girl...
We have been keeping busy with this cold, winter weather.  We took advantage of $2 Saturday at the movie theater and treated the kids to a movie and popcorn this weekend.  We saw Madagascar 3 which we've seen already so Alex got a little squirrely at the end but otherwise did pretty well.

Movie Time!
I was practicing with Alex on writing out his name and he is getting better and better.  He really wants to succeed but can sometimes get impatient.  Sometimes I can't tell what he wrote but he's always so proud of his work.  We made Papa Bob a card for his birthday and I had Alex write his name on the back.  This was his best effort yet and I was so proud of him!  He wrote it all by himself and I didn't help one bit.

Great job, Alex!
Other than that, we've just been keeping busy at home with the boys and enjoying their silly personalities...

Watching Daddy snowblow.  This kid LOVES to be nakie!

Dad and Alex were playing catch in our living room...with a real baseball!  Is it spring yet!?
My silly Seanie Man!

The boys insisted on helping me make chocolate chip cookies tonight.  Not sure all the ingredients were measured just right but the cookies turned out fantastic :)

The end result...Yum!

Time for bed...Goodnight!
