Hoppy Easter!!!

We seemed to maximize our Easter fun this year with egg hunts everywhere!  Dad put one together for the boys at home.  We joined in the fun at Marx park where we also saw the Easter Bunny.  We woke up early one morning and participated in the egg hunt at PNS.  Uncle Mark hid eggs for the boys on Easter and Grandpa and Grandma Beyer have their annual egg hunt for all the cousins next weekend!  I'm noticing that the age brackets seem to be stopping around 8-10 years old so I'm realizing that Alex only has a couple more years of this innocent fun!

Cool colored egg, Alex!
We had a fantastic Easter with our family.  Alex and Sean woke up around 5:45AM to start the search for their Easter baskets.  One of the few mornings I didn't mind dragging myself out of bed that early!  They were overjoyed with so much excitement!!!  We are so blessed with these two balls of energy.  They keep us smiling and make my heart happy!!!

Awe, Seanie loves his Bunny, Max!

Thanks for the Teeny Mates, Easter Bunny!

Super Fun Week!

We had a jam-packed week full of fun!  Alex signed up for Hobby Night at school where he showcased his Teeny Mates collection.  It was a big hit!  He also finished out his swim lessons and was bumped up to Level 5 where he is now learning the freestyle.  He's swimming the length of the pool all by himself and Mom is a nervous wreck watching him in 10 feet of water!

Lenny the Leprechaun made a visit to our house for St. Patty's Day.  The boys drew pictures and my inquisitive, Alex, had some questions for the Leprechaun which he kindly answered :)  In turn, he left a trail of coins and some treats for the boys but not before making a silly mess out of the house.  He must have used the bathroom because the toilet water was green and he must have had a drink of milk because the milk was green.  Pictures were sideways and lamp shades were upside down and the kids shoes were hanging from the curtains.  Silly Leprechaun!

Thanks for visiting Lenny!
Seanie's enjoying some of the Leprechaun's milk!
We found the Easter Bunny at Elegant Farmer yesterday and we also got to hold some baby chicks and bunnies.  We took a ride on the trolley which was built in 1920 and it's Wisconsin's last original electric railroad line!  We all took in a bit of history and enjoyed the experience!
Hoppy Easter!!!

We ended the weekend at Marvel Live where our favorite super heroes came to life to battle the bad guys!  Spider Man was hanging from the ceiling.  Captain America was doing all sorts of tricks on his motorcycle and even the Hulk made an appearance at the end.  It was action-packed with all kinds of stunts and the boys LOVED it!

March Madness

We can't let March go by without a Shamrock Shake from McDonalds!  Our Irish heritage from the Callahan side is definitely coming out this month!
Soooo Good!
Sean found a new love this spring/summer and is learning how to ride his bike.  He still needs training wheels for now but hoping they will come off by the end of summer.  He loves riding and just confirms even more that he is turning into such a big boy!!!

My big boy, Sean, on a big bike!
Lookin' good, Sean Man!

Alex is working hard at swim lessons this month through Swim America.  He's learning the crawl stroke and pretty soon the back stroke.  He loves to swim and does really well in the water which he get from his Momma:)
Havin' fun in the pool!

Alex and Sean got to hang out with their cousins on Friday.  Miss Katelyn is getting SO big and such an adorable little girl.  She was all about Sean on Friday and wanted to hug and kiss him all night and run around in his shoes.  Seanie was so cute too and was sharing his stuffed animals with her and chasing her around the house.  They adore each other :)

A fun night of Mario Kart!

These two are so sweet :)
The boys had lots of fun playing outside on Saturday with the warm weather.  Baseball, soccer swings, bubbles and bike rides just to name a few.  Seanie doesn't need the baseball tee anymore which is cool and he can really hit the ball.

Homerun Derby time!

A nice day for a swing!
We also got to see Ann and Mark on Sunday for lunch and Annie helped Alex with his reading homework.  It's not his favorite thing to do but it helps with a new audience and I think he's doing a great job!

Awe, Seanie loves his Uncle Mark!

Thanks for listening to me read, Annie!  XOXO
