Brewers on Deck

And just like that, we switch from Packers mode to Brewers.  Dave and Alex went to the Brewers on Deck event this afternoon and saw some familiar faces including Lucroy, Braun and Gomez.  Alex seems to be enjoying many sports these days, including football and soccer, but baseball is always closest to his heart.

Alex ran into his buddy Tyler!

While Alex and Dad were away, Sean and I enjoyed some overdue Katelyn time!  It was cute to see Seanie so helpful and caring with baby Katelyn.  He brought her all of his favorite toys to play with and made sure she was happy. T hey were so giggly with each other!  Hard to believe my "baby" is such a big boy now.

Had to attempt the Sean-Katelyn selfie!

It's always a fun time at Aunt Lori's house!

Kisses from sweet Alex!

Alex loves his cute little Katelyn!
The boys discovered a couple of mom's old trophies in the basement so we had to dust them off and take a look.  They couldn't believe how many trophies I had and thought that was pretty cool.  I felt like a super star to them :)

Wow, Mom, how did you get all these trophies!?!

My little Champion!
The boys LOVE their Legos and they are so fortunate to have a nice collection of them.  They like to build Lego City on the car mats and they will play for hours!  There might be random Lego pieces scattered around my living room, but one this is for sure, those Legos get played with!

LEGOLAND

We took a day trip to Chicago and finally made our way to the fun world of LEGOLAND!  The boys were ecstatic!  We watched two really cool 4D Lego movies.  The boys went on the Apprentice Ride and the Kingdom Quest Laser Ride which they loved.  We built Lego cars to race and the boys played on the gym set.  Alex & Sean each got to pick out a cool Lego key chain for the ride home.   As soon as they got home, they turned our living room into a Lego City!  They were in heaven all day!!

Lunch at Meatheads!  That was the "kids" hotdog!

We made it!  Hello LEGOLAND!

The Chicago skyline made of all Legos of course!

My little goofball!

Laser Ride!  We had to shoot at targets and save the Princess!

Winter Break

The boys had a super fun winter break and thankfully avoided getting sick over the holidays.  We went to the Jelly Belly factory where we took a tour and learned how a jelly belly is made.  The boys sampled flavors like toothpaste and dirt.  I stuck to my favorites!
Taking the Jelly Belly train ride!

Trying out the different flavors!
Dad packed a week full of fun into the break for the boys.  They fought the crazy crowds and went to the Betty Brynn Museum and they also went to the movies and saw Penguins of Madagascar.  They took nature walks through the woods and by the pond and, since it finally snowed, Alex and Sean helped Dad make a snowman.  The boys met up with theirs cousins at Helium and had a fun morning of bouncing on the trampoline and jumping into the foam pit.
These two are ready to flip into that foam pit!

Look at these crazy bouncers!

Just holding a bubble in my hand...no big deal!

Alex had been asking to go to a Bucks game all winter and he finally got his wish on Saturday night.  Dad and Alex had a blast together!  Seanie and Mom had a fun date night at Cherry Berry.  I love that one-on-one time with my little man!  Then went to visit Tyler, Anna and Katelyn for movie and popcorn night!

Go Bucks!

Havin' fun at Cherry Berry!

Movie Night!
Alex joined an indoor soccer league this winter and that started this weekend.  It brings back so many memories from my days of playing.  He is lovin’ it and it’s a great way for him to burn off that extra energy in the winter time!
Go New Berlin Fever!
