Thanksgiving

We were lucky enough to celebrate Thanksgiving with both of our families and yes, we indulged in two turkey dinners.  Our Moms outdid themselves again this year and cooked up a wonderful Thanksgiving feast.  It was a beautiful day and the boys took advantage and took in some fresh air outside which was a bonus in November.  We were surrounded by all the people we love so much and we feel so blessed to have them in our lives.  Hope everyone else had a Happy Turkey Day!!

We are most thankful for our two healthy and rambunctious boys!

Uncle Mark & Alex :)

We stuffed our faces all day!

Seanie had a full tummy and was ready for a nap!

Papa Bob and Alex :)

Alex and I also had a date night on Sunday and we went to see the Toy Story characters at Disney Live with our friends Julie and Lauren.  We had a great time and it was fun spending time with just Alex for a change.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Daddy’s birthday with the family last weekend at Grandpa & Grandma’s house, along with Grandma’s birthday which was last week and Aunt Jenny’s birthday which is coming up next week. But tonight was Dad’s birthday and we had a fun time spoiling him with lots of hugs, kisses and treats! Happy birthday, Daddy! Your two favorite boys love you very much. You’re the most awesome Dad in the whole world! XOXO
How many people does it take to blow out a few candles?!?

The Boys

Seanie is growing up so fast and right before our eyes. It no longer seems like we have a baby in the house. He's a little toddler man that likes to chase Alex around the house and wrestle him to the ground. He knows what he wants and will pout if he doesn't get his way. Sean's been a bit whiny lately and hasn't been eating real great for us because he has more teeth coming in. He's a happy 'lil guy though and lights up the room with his smile and giggles. He loves to snuggle, with that thumb in his mouth, and watch Toy Story with Alex. Sean is starting to sound out more words which includes mama, dada, hi, hot, milk and we're pretty sure he can say Alex. He is such a sweetie pie and will blow us kisses or lean in for a kiss when we ask. He's also mastered the high five and clapping his hands. Yay for Seanie!

My silly goofballs!

Alex has been keeping us entertained with his 3 year old wisdom.  He definitely takes after Daddy and has such a fun, comedic side to him.  He still loves to play baseball inside the house and can play with his cars for hours.  He is constantly playing pretend and will shout something random out like, "You're naughty.  Go sit in a timeout" and I will say, "What?" and Alex will say, "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to my dinosaurs."  His new favorite song these days is Gangnam Style by Psy and it's pretty funny to watch Alex dance to it.  He's met some great friends at daycare and is learning a lot.  His daycare teacher, Lisa, raved about what an outstanding helper Alex was today which makes me one proud Mama!
