We celebrated my cousin's wedding this past weekend in Chicago at the InterContinental and we had such a great time with family. It was a NBA wedding as my cousin, David, works for the Miami Heat and married his beautiful bride, Sebrina, who works for the Chicago Bulls. Small world! So many people traveled to make it a super fun wedding. The photo booth was a hoot too! Congrats to David & Sebrina! So happy for you guys!!

Slumber Party!
Alex & Sean had their cousins, Hailey & Logan over for a slumber party on Saturday night. The kids had a blast and played some baseball and hide & seek outside. We played Mall Madness and watched a movie with our popcorn and then we capped off the night with telling silly stories in bed. I think everyone had a great time and we all got more sleep then I thought we would.

On Sunday, Alex was able to participate in a special event at Miller Park since he is part of the Kids Club. So he went to the Brewers game with Daddy and Grandma and they all were able to walk around the field before the game. As a bonus, Alex was able to say hi to some of the racing sausages afterwards which made his day even better!

Capt Sean's GOLDEN Birthday!
We had a big birthday bash on Sunday for Seanie's GOLDEN 1st birthday! It was a whirlwind as it always is when throwing a party but one thing was for sure, Seanie had SO much fun and was majorly spoiled and loved by everyone that stepped through our door. It was Pirate themed and filled with a lot of gold treasures for his milestone birthday. The kids went on a treasure hunt which led them to a treasure chest of gold coins, ring pops and candy necklaces. Seanie had fun diving into his treasure chest cake and loved all the cool presents that he received including a plush Woody doll and Toy Story book, a Mega Blocks pirate ship, a dancing/singing Teddy Bear, Hippo Ball Popper and so many cute outfits just to name a few. We had great company, lots of good food and awesome weather to make Sean's 1st birthday party a huge success. I can't believe our baby is one already! What a great 1st year we had with our sweet little man who beams so much happiness into our world!!

Cookout / State Fair
We had another busy weekend but super fun! We went to my cousin’s wedding reception at Uncle Paul and Aunt Pat’s house after Theresa had tied the knot in Punta Cana back in January. We finally got some much needed rain on Saturday but we managed to stay dry under tents and still enjoy each other’s company. The kids still had a blast in the rain. After they had soaked their clothes, they all changed into bathing suits, dousing each other with buckets of water. It was pretty entertaining to watch as we hid under the tents. It was a great celebration for a wonderful couple! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Wade!!

| The Sean Man! |
We headed over to the Wisconsin State Fair on Sunday, and everyone seemed to have the same idea because the fair grounds were packed and I mean packed! Sean screamed bloody murder for most of the time we were there. We’re still trying to figure out why since he is always a go-with-the-flow kind of kid. We did manage to see the racing pigs which Alex really enjoyed. We went through some animal barns and tried out the flavored milks which is always a must at the fair! We grabbed a bite to eat, danced to some music and Alex and I finished the day with going down the giant slide together. It was not one of my most enjoyable fair experiences but I look forward to taking the boys in the future because there are so many fun things for the kids to do!

Sean turns ONE!
I don’t believe it but my baby turned one today! We had a fun-filled day planned for Seanie and everyone helped in celebrating Sean’s golden birthday with us. We went to Wirth Pool in the afternoon and let the boys splash around. Seanie was 50/50 in the water. At times he loved it and other times he just wasn’t sure of the water. In the evening, Sean’s aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents met us at the Organ Piper for some tasty pizza and catchy tunes. There was even a merry-go-round for the kids which was a big hit. Sean gobbled up his dinner and had no trouble diving into his frosted cupcake! I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone else at his birthday party in couple of weeks. Happy Birthday to you, Seanie! You’ve brought nothing but joy and happiness into our lives!! We love you!
