Surprise 40th

We did it and pulled off a surprise 40^th anniversary party for my parents!  It was perfect from start to finish.  My parents were genuinely shocked and so very appreciative at the same time.  We were especially touched by the presence of so many of their friends and family that came together to help celebrate.  Everyone made it so special and a really memorable day so THANK YOU! 

 Happy 40^th Anniversary Mom and Dad!  You’ve been an amazing role model and we are so blessed to be celebrating this milestone with you.  Wishing you many, many more loving years together!  We love you!

I think Dave and Rob had the most important role at the party and that was to keep the kids occupied all day which isn't always an easy task.  It wasn't the warmest outside but that didn't keep the kids away from the playground.  They had a blast together outside and the adults were able to stay warm and socialize inside the Pavilion so a huge thank you to the guys!!

Easter Fun

It’s hard to sum up Easter this year because we did so many fun things!  Alex and Sean had a lot of cousin time together which they all loved!  The kids tried out Helium Trampoline Park in New Berlin and jumped their little hearts out.  The cousins went on an egg hunt at Marx Park in Brookfield and said hi to the Easter Bunny.  Then Grandpa & Grandma Beyer put on their annual egg hunt at their house which was a ton of fun!

We are so lucky to be able to spend Easter with both of our families.  The Easter bunny came and left Alex and Sean lots of goodies!  After church, we went to Grandpa & Grandma Michna’s house for a wonderful Easter lunch.  We enjoyed the 70 degree weather outside and celebrated Grandma’s birthday!  Then we headed over to Uncle Paul and Aunt Pat’s for dinner and the cousins were together again.  We had such a great Easter with the people we love!

Big Boys Club

It's day four of potty training for Sean. I don't want to get ahead of myself here but I think the kid is potty trained already!  He's had a few accidents since wearing big boy undies but for the most part he is doing awesome!  He will either tell us he has to go, take our hand or just pull his pants down and go all by himself. I'm so proud of him!

Spring Break

 

It's mid-April and snowing!  Seriously!?!  The boys are all on spring break this week and enjoying their time together at home.  Alex finished up his swim lessons this past week.  The boys colored Easter eggs and both had dentist appointments.  

Dave and the boys ventured out this afternoon and cheered on the Brewers at Miller Park.  Sean even went in his undies and no accidents!  I wasn't sure if Sean would make it through the game but he did great and loved the racing sausages.  He is definitely not afraid of them as he's giving them all high fives as they were leaving!

Spring!

We spent the majority of today outside and it felt great! Loved seeing all the neighbors out in their yards, dogs running around and kids riding their bikes down the street.  Alex and Sean would live outside if they could.  We played soccer, baseball, rode bikes, went on swings, colored with chalk, chased the neighbors’ dogs around the yard and had a picnic lunch in the treehouse.  The boys are sleeping soundly and so will I :)
