End of Summer

Is summer really over?  Alex starts 4th grade tomorrow and Sean will be starting 1st grade so summer is officially over in my eyes.  We had an amazing summer filled with so many fun activities!  It's such a blessing to have Dave home all summer long.  He absolutely loves every single day he gets to spend with the boys!  We packed a lot in and made the best of summer so I think we are ready to start off the school year on a high note!
Enjoying the State Fair one more day!

Muskego Lake

We were lucky enough to be invited to our friends, Dan and Nikki's house who live right on Lake Muskego for a day of water fun with the cousins!  This is always one of our favorite days of summer.  The weather was absolute beautiful and we all relaxed in the sun.  The cousins had a ball and enjoyed taking the boat out to go tubing.  Hailey, Jenny and Carla even tried water skiing and did awesome!  Such a fun day and we can't thank Dan and Nikki enough for inviting our family!

Minocqua

We have been looking forward to going to the Northwoods since the beginning of summer!  Dave went up north with his family as a kid but this was a first for me and the boys.  It was unlike any vacation I've been on and I absolutely loved it!!!

We spent three nights in Minocqua with our family, along with Grandma Michna, Ann and Mark.  We stayed right on Lake Minocqua and the scenery was breath-taking.  We had such a relaxing week filled with just enough fun activities to keep us busy!
We made it!  Cheers to the start of vacation!
Enjoying some yummy "beers."

Seanie's enjoying a delicios s'more :)

Havin' fun around the campfire!

One day we rented bikes and went for a family bike ride through the beautiful trails.  We stopped along the way to check out some walking trails and grab a bite to eat and then ended the day at the beach!  We rented a jet ski one afternoon and literally took turns riding it for seven hours straight on Lake Minocqua.  We had a blast!  Alex and Sean even drove it - on low speed!
