June

Where has June gone?  School’s out and we’ve never been busier!  Alex was in a basketball camp at NB West last week with some of his friends and loved it!  He starts football camp this week.  Seanie has been busy with Safety Town with his friends and is learning all about bike safety, stranger danger, fire safety and so much more.  We also enjoyed the HA Festival this weekend.  Alex and I worked the sucker tree in the game tent and had fun.  The kids had a blast playing the games, winning prizes and riding the rides with their friends!  What a great way to spend the weekend!!!
Awesome zombie tattoo, Sean!!!
Working the HA Festival :)

Sean cashed in three prize tokens for this bear!  He was so happy!!!

Father's Day

Alex had a baseball tournament on Father’s Day weekend last week.  He played five games in two days and ended up taking home the championship which was awesome!  So we surprised Dave on Friday with a trip to Lake Geneva to celebrate Father’s Day.  The weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  We went on an ice cream social boat cruise and enjoyed the views of all the beautiful homes around the lake.  It was so relaxing and so enjoyable to spend the afternoon together with our #1 Dad that we love so much!!!

Happy Father's Day!!!

These two are so lucky to have Dave home with them all summer!!!

Enjoying the cruise :)

The captain let Alex steer the boat!

Sean got a turn too :)

Such a fun afternoon!!!

A win to end the weekend!

1st place Champs!  Way to go Magic!!!

Brought home the trophy for Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Papa Bob!!!  We love you!

These two are soooo sweet!!!

We put together a collage of pictures of all the grandkids using tools as a gift for Papa Bob and the end result turned out so cool.  Hopefully our kids will inherit some of your talents and handy work!!!

We also celebrated Anna’s 6th birthday and Katelyn’s 3rd birthday on Father’s Day weekend.  It was such a fun time as always.  Good food and great company!!!  The girls were so excited and enjoyed every minute of their celebration!

Summer is here!

We've been busy wrapping up the end of the school year for Alex and Sean.  Both boys had super fun celebrations all week long with their classmates.  I was able to catch some of Alex's carnival games outside with his friends.  It was a really good year for the boys with their academics and behavior.  I'm so proud of how they've grown throughout the school year.  Goodbye 2nd grade and 4K!!!
Silly carnival games

Fun sack races!
Last week of school!

Bus buddies :)
Last day of school.  Woo-hoo!

Last day of 2nd grade and 4K.

Grandma treated the boys to ice cream to celebrate!

We always need to lean on my Mom this time of year to babysit the boys until Dave finishes up his school year.  She is definitely our saving grace!  Alex and Sean are so lucky to get to spend extra time with Grandma and they have so much fun bonding together.  I am so grateful for your help Mom!!!    You sure are a very special person in our eyes!

We spent the day at the Zoo with Grandma on Thursday. We spent almost four hours bumming around!  Friday, the boys took Grandma to see the movie Captain Underpants!  Even with the "fart" jokes, Grandma said she enjoyed it!  Then it was pool time on Saturday and Sunday to beat the 90 degree heat!  Thanks, Grandma, for everything!  We love you!!!

Enjoying the zoo with Grandma :)

Beautiful day for Momma to take off and spend it with her boys!

Swimming at Wirth Pool :)
Love this summer weather!!!
Mark graduated from Wauwatosa East High School on Saturday and Dave was able to be there and celebrate with him!  He graduated as Salutatorian in his senior class and we couldn't be more proud of our little brother!  He is one of the hardest working kids I know and you won't find a nicer, more genuine person!  He is off to University of Pennsylvania in the Fall to study medicine.  We wish you the best of luck, Mark!  Your future is bright and we know you will do great things!!!

Class of 2017

Way to go, Mark!  We are so proud of you!!!

Congrats Graduate!!!

Baseball Weekend

The weekend was filled with baseball and sunshine and we were lovin' it!  The NB Magic played tough but fell short in the Championship game this weekend so took 2nd overall in the tournament.  So proud of the boys and their efforts!!!

2nd Place Winners

Sean was a trooper all weekend watching baseball.  We snuck in some time at the park too!

Helping Mom at the concession stand :)

NB Magic vs NB Heat
Alex participated in the Homerun Derby to kick off the weekend.  We didn't know what to expect but he did awesome.  Took first place in the pitching contest for U8 and placed 2nd in the running contest.  He came up a bit short on the hitting.  He was very surprised to hear his name called for each award.  He keeps the 1st place trophy at arms length away at home so I can tell he is very proud of himself as he should be!

Way to go Magic!
Seanie started playing baseball and he is so excited to play.  He likes to wear his baseball pants at all times so he can slide in the dirt.  He made some fantastic plays on defense the last two game and he's hitting pretty well too.  He's such a cutie in his uniform and so much fun to watch!

Ready to play!

Cheering on his teammates!

Let's go, Sean!  Big hit #9.

My little baseball player!
