Katelyn Turns One!

We had SO much fun celebrating Miss Katelyn’s 1st birthday on Saturday!  She was all smiles and giggles, as usual!  She is the most laid back baby I’ve ever met and she really knows how to ham it up with her big grin!  The kids were surprised to see a huge bounce house in the backyard and it did not disappoint!  That thing got used all afternoon and was a big hit by all!  Happy birthday pretty girl!  We love you!!!

The rest of our weekend was spent at our church festival at Holy Apostles.  Alex and I worked the bean bag toss game on Friday.  He also got to play some of the games with Sean and brought home a closet full of prizes!  We went back on Sunday for the rides and the kids had a really fun time!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great day honoring the most special men in our lives for Father’s Day!  We sure are lucky to have so many people care about us so much.  Our Dads are always there for us and would do anything for us!  A special Happy Father’s Day goes to the man my kids adore more than anyone else in the world.  I always knew you would be great, David Michna!!!

Happy Father's Day!!!  XOXO

We kicked off Father’s Day weekend with a super fun wedding celebrating my cousin, Chris, and his wife, Melissa, at Hotel Metro in downtown Milwaukee.   We had a blast and the kids did too without us!  Grandma Michna took Alex and Sean to Mayfair Mall to see the Lego displays and they couldn’t stop talking about it!  They didn’t want the night to end so they turned their fun night into an overnight slumber party!!!

School's Out

Alex finished up his last day as a Kindergartner and is officially a 1st grader.  I still can’t believe it!  He had a wonderful year with Mrs. Rushmer and I think she really pushed Alex this year.  He really seems to excel in math – that’s my boy!  Our goal is to read, read, read this summer!  Sean gets a break from daycare this summer.  We celebrated with a trip to one of his favorite places - Dunkin’ Donuts!!!
Last day of 5K!!!

I just love the looks they give each other :)

Summer is here!!!

We had a day that actually felt like summer last week amidst all these rainy days.   So we took advantage and went to Fox Brook Park and spent the day on the beach.  It was wonderful!!!  We were there all day and it was endless fun for the kids.  The boys started up a kickball game in the sand with some other kids they met there.  We built sand castles, swam in the pond, soaked up the sun and had a picnic lunch!  It was the perfect way to spend the first day of summer vacation!!

We had more to celebrate over the weekend with a dual birthday party for Hailey and Logan who turned 10 and 7.  That’s hard to believe too!!!  The rain held out and the kids had a blast running around the yard and shooting hoops!  Always a fun time with great food and many laughs!  Happy birthday to my beautiful niece, Hailey, and my super sweet Godson, Logan!!!

Holy Cuteness!!!

Sean had his spring concert with Miss Lisa’s daycare.  The program was super cute as the kids sang songs and danced on stage.  Seanie hammed it up with his (girl) friend, Abby!  He was so smiley and so confident up on stage.  One of the “graduates” was asked what his favorite thing to do at Miss Lisa’s house.  He responded with a big smile, “Play with Sean!”  It was a proud parent moment!  Seanie, you exploded with cuteness tonight!!!  We love you!

Thank you for coming Papa & Nana!

We had a super fun Sunday spent at St. John Vianney’s festival.  The boys rode rides for 2 hours straight.  Now that Alex is a little older a bit taller, he wanted to do some bigger, scarier rides this year.  He had his eye on the “Zero Gravity” ride and wanted to try it out.  Even my stomach turned when Alex was in line waiting.  He did it and even came off of it with a smile.  When Grandpa asked what he thought of the ride, he said, “it felt like I was going to die, but I would do it again!”  LOL!!!  Sean tried just about everything he could do but his favorite remains the monster trucks!
Havin' fun on the bumpy cars!

Seanie wouldn't ride the train until he could be the Engineer!!!
