We have been looking forward to going to the Northwoods since the beginning of summer! Dave went up north with his family as a kid but this was a first for me and the boys. It was unlike any vacation I've been on and I absolutely loved it!!!
We spent three nights in Minocqua with our family, along with Grandma Michna, Ann and Mark. We stayed right on Lake Minocqua and the scenery was breath-taking. We had such a relaxing week filled with just enough fun activities to keep us busy!

One day we rented bikes and went for a family bike ride through the
beautiful trails. We stopped along the way to check out some walking
trails and grab a bite to eat and then ended the day at the beach! We
rented a jet ski one afternoon and literally took turns riding it for
seven hours straight on Lake Minocqua. We had a blast! Alex and Sean
even drove it - on low speed!

We walked around downtown and checked out the cute shops. We filled in
the gaps with swimming, fishing off the pier, making s'mores and telling
stories around the campfire and enjoying delicious food and cocktails
at the nearby restaurants! We finished our trip with mini-golfing and
lunch at Paul Bunyans! It was a trip full of lasting memories and we
are so grateful to have enjoyed the week with the people we love the
most!!!
