Alex is back into his weekday routine with daycare now that Daddy is back to work for another school year. The two of them had a blast together all summer long and I think they're really going to miss each other during the day. Dave loved to find fun, new things for Alex to enjoy. They spent a ton of time outside going for walks by the lake, playing in the sand, or burning off energy at the playground with the other kids. The two of them have formed such a strong father-son bond.

We went to Uncle Paul & Aunt Pat's house for their traditional Labor Day celebration. We had to dig out our jackets and sweatshirts for the first time in a long time but we still had such a great time and the bonfire helped keep us warm.
