We skipped the traditional 4th of July parade this year but we still crammed a lot into the holiday. We had an afternoon cookout at Grandpa and Grandma Michna's and then we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Beyer's for some more yummy food. We played yard games, whiffle ball, doused each other with water, played hide and seek, lit off some fireworks, made s'mores and ended the night with a bonfire. Even though Alex couldn't join in on all the fun, I think he enjoyed his first 4th of July celebration!
