Pool Party!

We were fortunate enough to get invited over to use our friend’s pool on Saturday and the kids had a blast together!  It brought back so many great memories of growing up with a pool in my parent’s backyard.  We swam all day and we were all pooped out by the end of the day.  What a fun way to spend a hot and humid summer afternoon!

Some of the families in Alex’s class at Holy Apostles planned a tailgate/Brewers game to get the kids together during the summer so Alex and I went and had so much fun.  Alex was so excited to see his friends and spend a day at Miller Park.  It goes to show what a wonderful class Alex has at Holy Apostles.  Both the kids and parents get along so well and have so much fun together.

Amazing Weekend!

We had the best weekend filled with nothing but summer fun!  Alex finished up his baseball season and had a great time with his friends.  I enjoyed every minute of watching him play the sport he loves so much!  Next up, soccer in the fall.

Daddy has been keeping Alex and Sean busy this summer and taking them on really cool adventures.  Last week, they went to Green Meadows Farm and had a blast together checking out the farm equipment and chasing after the animals.  Seriously, how lucky are my three boys that get to hang out all summer together!?!  I am SO jealous!!

My Handsome Sean!

How cute are they?!
The ice cream truck actually made it down our street for the very first time since we've lived here.  When I heard the music coming, I quick ran for my purse so my boys could experience the ice cream truck like I did as a kid for the very first time!

Seriously, Sean!  You picked the messiest ice cream bar!

We joined the Brenton’s for a fun night at the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Watertown.  The kids played in the bounce houses and had a good time together.  Sean wanted to ride the bumper boats SO badly so I gave in and it was worth every penny to see his smiling face!!!  I can’t stop smiling thinking about it!

Bounce house fun!

Seanie LOVED these boats!

We went to visit Annie and have dinner at Waterstreet Brewery on Saturday night.  Since Ann was done working for the night, she joined us for a Trolley ride around downtown Milwaukee.  We all enjoyed it and the boys absolutely loved hanging out with Annie!

Sunday was filled with water and sun!  I bought a Slip n Slide late last summer for maybe $3 thinking it might last one day but would be a fun treat for the boys.  Best $3.00 I’ve spent!  We had SO much fun today and played with that Slip n Slide for hours and hours.  The boys LOVED it and it was neat to see them so excited!  What a great weekend we had!

Seanie just wanted to get wet!

Lovin' the Slip n Slide!

Seanie would army crawl to get the end if he didn't make it!

Loads of Fun!

These two make me smile :)

Cousin Fun

Alex and his cousins, Hailey and Logan, mini-golfed on Saturday which was Alex’s first time ever.  He had a blast but I think it was mostly because he was with his cousins.  The golfing was a challenge but got better as we went along.   Then we got to hang out with Tyler, Anna and Katelyn on Sunday.  The kids were able to enjoy some water time with the hot sun and humidity.  If it was up to Alex and Sean, they would want to see their cousins every day!

4th of July

We had such a fabulous 4th of July.  It’s probably our most favorite holiday after Christmas.  We started out with the Tosa Parade with Grandma Michna.  We had a yummy lunch, played at the park with Aunt Ann and Uncle Mark and even lit some fun, kid-friendly fireworks!

Alex & Seanie loved the parade!

Happy 4th of July!

Our day continued at Papa & Nana’s house with the rest of our cousins.  The kids played SO nice together and literally played baseball in the backyard all afternoon.  Steve, Rob, Dave and Uncle Gary even got into it as well.  We had a delicious cookout, lit some more fireworks, had a bonfire and then we headed to Mitchell Park for the real fireworks show.  The boys were wiped to say the least!  We couldn’t have asked for a more fun-filled day with all the people we love!

This picture cracks me up...Seanie was so tired that he brought one of Nana's pillows outside and laid down on it!
The kids LOVED Dave's fireworks!

We started the 4th of July celebration off early at Malone Park’s festival.  The boys picked a few rides to go on.  They also had some fun family games and there was a playground that kept Alex and Sean busy for a while.  We listened to the music, tried some tasty food and had a great time!
