Festival, Fishing & Fun

We headed over to our parish festival on Friday night with the Ouradnik Family and had so much fun with the boys.  Aunt Carla and her gang met us there too so Alex, Ty and Tyler all got to ride the rides together.  This was really the first time Alex rode the rides solo and he did great except for the Alligator roller coaster.  I sorta forced him on it thinking he might like it but midway through the ride, he got scared and started balling so the ride ended a little early.  I think he takes after his Daddy in that category!

Lovin' the cars!

On Saturday, we went to a graduation party and enjoyed a beautiful night overlooking Pewaukee Lake.  Seanie was all over the place and absolutely loved the creamy cheesecake dessert that Grandma Michna made for the party.  Alex went fishing for the very first time off the pier with his new friend, Hudson.  It didn't take long for the boys to catch the fish and Alex thought that was pretty cool.

Father's Day Weekend

We honored our favorite dad’s this weekend with a cookout on Friday at Grandpa & Grandma Michna’s house and then a cookout today at Uncle Rob and Aunt Carla’s house.  We are so lucky to have so many special fathers in our life.  Thanks for all that you do for us YEAR round!!  And, of course, Happy Father’s Day to the best Daddy in the world!  Among many other things, thanks for teaching us how to be silly and laugh.  We love you!! – Alex & Seanie XOXO

On Friday, I volunteered to help at my boss’ charity golf outing for Just Fore Kids which is a wonderful organization that helps raise money for kids in need.  Carla helped out too and we had so much fun baking in the sun all day together.  On Saturday, I took Alex and his cousins, Hailey & Logan, to Wirth Park for the afternoon after the storms subsided.  The day turned out to be pretty nice and the kids had a blast in the water and sand!

Birthday Party

We went to Children's Play Gallery in Delafield today for Lauren's 4th birthday.  I always wanted to take the boys there and they had so much fun exploring all the different activities.  Lauren looked like a pretty little princess in her dress and all the boys had fun dressing up as pirates and playing on the big pirate ship.  Seanie and his friend, Ryan, had their own little baby area so they were set and happy.  Alex loved playing with all the other kids and ran from one thing to the next.  Super fun party...Happy Birthday to Lauren!

Annie's Graduation!

Dave’s little sister graduated from Wauwatosa East High School today and we couldn’t be prouder of her!  The past four years seemed to fly by and we enjoyed all the excitement of your high school career from sports to school to dances and friends.    Ann will be attending UW-Milwaukee in the fall and she graduated Tosa East with honors.  Way to go, Annie!  Good luck on all your future endeavors!!

Siblings!

Hugs and flowers from Alex...XOXO

Smiles from Seanie :)

Yay for Auntie Ann!

We had another busy weekend and it’s not even over yet.  I had the afternoon off on Thursday so I took the boys to the zoo with Aunt Jenny, Hailey & Logan.  On Friday, Alex and Daddy sat in the first row at the Brewers game with Auntie Joan.  Alex was lucky enough to get a ball.  The boys stayed by Papa and Nana Beyer’s house during Ann’s Graduation and we spent the rest of the beautiful weekend outdoors.

Anna Turns One!

This past weekend was filled with more parties which were so much fun for us and the kids.  We celebrated Miss Anna Banana turning one with a big PINK cupcake bash!  Anna was in all her glory and put on quite a show when demolishing her birthday cake since she decided to smear frosting all over her big brother, Tyler.  Let’s just say both needed a bath by the end of it!  The day was gorgeous and we had a super fun time at the party!  Happy birthday to my beautiful Goddaughter, Anna!

Dig in, birthday girl!

The cousins all went to Yo Mama's for Anna's actual birthday on Thursday!  YUM!!
On Friday, we helped Logan celebrate his 4th birthday at Jumpzone which was filled with a bunch of inflatable slides and obstacle courses.  Just the big kids went to play and I think they ran around for 3 hours straight!  They all had a blast climbing, jumping and sliding into each other.  It was neat to see the excitement in their eyes all night.  Happy Birthday to my sweet Godson, Logan!
Alex sure loves his cousin, Logan!

Happy Birthday to Logan!

This about sums up the night!

Crash!  So much fun!!

Seanie is 10 Months!

I am trying desperately to keep up with Sean's baby book (and Alex's too, for that matter).  I try my best to keep records of all their "firsts" and document cute things they do or say.  But they change on me so darn quick and life has been busy so I feel like I am falling behind...

So what is Sean up to at 10 months old?  He is eating almost any table food.  He loves his pancakes in the morning.  He looks to swipe food away from Alex all the time or steal his sippy cup.  Sean is starting to wave to us and will do it on cue.  He gave me my first wet, open-mouthed, tongue kiss the other day.  I loved it.  He's cruisin around furniture with ease and is starting to stand by himself.  He likes to hold onto the back of Alex's firetruck and walk behind as Alex rides.

Sean loves to watch Alex play and is content just sitting by him and all his different trucks.  It's precious to see these two "playing" together or listening to Alex have a conversation with Sean.  They also love to (gently) wrestle together on the couch and Sean will let out these big shrieks of excitement.  He is such a happy baby and lights up a room with his smile and laughter.  Happy 10 Months, Seanie!

Getting too big for his car seat.
