Wisconsin Dells

The rain finally stopped and the sun stayed out long enough for us to take a trip to Wisconsin Dells and enjoy a summer day at Noah's Ark.  Alex and Sean love the water!  I was lucky enough to have a pool right in my backyard as a kid.  I only wish my boys could have had that same childhood memory!  But we got our water fill at Noah's Ark.  Alex and Sean could spend all day just in the wave pool.  We went on some slides too and had fun.  Alex was brave enough to go on Point of No Return.  Seanie tried Stingray and loved it!

After Noah's Ark, we made it in time to see the Tommy Bartlett show.  Such a fun show for the family!  Then we grabbed dinner and enjoyed the summer night walking around downtown, checking out the shops and enjoyed some yummy ice cream.

Dinner at Buffalo Phil's with the cool train that whizzes by our table!

The bad boys trying out some "candy" cigarettes.
We also enjoyed a fun family game of mini-golf in the Dells at the Pirate Cove.  Dad got the only hole-in-one but Mom walked away as the winner!

Funny story to share about Sean.  On hole 18, he made his last putt into the hole.  I was standing back a ways and I could see the look of confusion on his face as his ball disappeared.  Other holes that we previously played that day had multiple holes that would spit out the ball through a tube and onto a different green.  So Sean is looking in the hole and then looking around for his red ball.  All of a sudden, he darts over to a different green and picks up the rolling red ball that a lady had just putted thinking it was his ball.  We apologized and gave her the ball back.  It was a lesson Sean learned about hole 18 that he probably will never forget!

Beautiful day for some golf with the family :)
Fun golfing with these two!
We enjoyed our church festival at Holy Apostles over the weekend.  We all worked the games tent on Friday night.  Alex and Sean had a great time playing the games, winning prizes and they rode rides all day on Saturday.  It was fun to see so many familiar faces from school and catch up on how summer was going for everyone!
Come play Tic Tac Toe with us!

Riding the Tilt a whirl with Sean's friend Brady!

Look at all the prizes we won!

Dave and the boys are enjoying summer break!  They've been keeping busy between basketball camp, Helium trampoline park, and baseball games.  Today, the trio went to root on the Brewers.  They ended up with the home run ball that Mike Moustakas hit for the Royals and then they got two more balls from the bull pen by the end of the day.  They were very excited little boys!!!
