Well, here we go... It's cold season and it's officially reached the Michna household. Alex and Sean both woke up this morning with sore throats and coughs. It's hard to explain to a 3 year old that a sore throat doesn't magically go away in a day, even after taking medicine, and there's not much his Mama can do but snuggle with him. It was a lazy Sunday for us filled with lots of movies. About 7:00pm, Alex threw in the towel and asked us if he could go to bed. That NEVER happens!

Seanie is looking and acting older to us every day. His daycare lady, Lisa, just raves about how much he "gets it" at his age. He's sharp and can usually tell us or show us what he wants. When we figure it out, he cracks the biggest smile I've ever seen. He is getting really good at repeating words after us. Baseball (ba-ball) is one of his favorites:) Seanie loves to climb on everything and is quick. He has figured out that he can pretty much move a chair or use his toy containers as a step stool to get to any height he wants. Sean is such a lil' goofball and loves to chase Alex around the house or imitate him. He is such a joy to watch and we just love him to pieces!

Alex is learning and growing by the minute. He is doing really well at daycare with all the fun projects and activities they do each day. He's mastered the puzzles and he's getting better at coloring. just as long as he stays patient. He is always so proud to show me his art work and will make me close my eyes first. Dad is always showing him new learning games on the IPad and he's starting to recognize his letters more. I think he is really going to love going to school in the fall. He amazes us every day with his innocent conversations and wonder. We're just so proud of him!
