It was another hot summer weekend so we took advantage and found some fun pools to keep Alex nice and cool. On Friday, Grandma Beyer treated Alex and his cousins to a day of fun at Wirth Park in Brookfield. Then on Sunday, we tried out Horeb Park in Waukesha with some friends. Alex loved the water. There was a small slide at Wirth Park and a big slide at Horeb Park that Mommy took him down. The pools were exactly what we needed and the kids had a blast.

Alex is constantly grabbing our phones now and putting it up to his ear with a big "Hiiiiii." We found him playing with my hair straightner the other day and he held it up to his hair. I guess he watches me get ready in the morning a little too often but at least he's starting to figure things out!.
