Here's what Alex has been up to lately:
- He weighs 19 1/2 lbs. He's mostly in 12 month clothes and wears size 3 diapers.
- His two bottom teeth just broke through in the last week or so. They don't seem to bother him though.
- Alex sleeps from 8:00PM until 6:30-7:00AM and takes 2-3 naps during the day.
- He's eating stage 2 foods mostly. Not a big fan of his green veggies (especially peas), but who is?! He scrunches his face and spits the food back out at us.
- Alex is starting to feed himself without our help as much. There's usually more food that ends up in his lap then in his mouth, but he gets an A for effort.
- He's a motor man on his hands and knees. He follows us everywhere around the house. He's our little Curious George that needs to know what's going on at all times.
- Alex loves playing peek-a-boo and laughs up a storm.
- He's getting really good at pulling himself up on furniture and standing on his own. He's starting to get the mechanics of taking steps with Mom and Dad's help, of course.
- Alex babbles all day long and can get pretty boistrous at times, especially when he wants something. He says "Mama" and "Dada" the most.
- He loves bath time, especially when Daddy makes waterfalls. Alex is definitely not afraid of the water. I think he could sit and play in the tub for hours if we let him.
- He's friendly and gives smiles to everyone.
- He started giving wet kisses but has only given them out to Mommy and Uncle Mark. They're sloppy, but I love them!
- Alex is still in the "Happiest Baby Club."
