Spring Break

The boys had an unbelievable week together while on spring break.  Dad had something fun planned for Alex and Sean every day and they loved every bit of it.  They went to the Zoo on Monday rode the train and carousel which is always a highlight.  They went to the Museum with Grandma Michna and Uncle Mark.  Alex had creepy crawlers climbing on him and Seanie was a magnet for butterflies with his bright orange sweatshirt.
Checking out some animals...
Train ride!
Can't see the butterflies in this picture real well but they all loved Seanie's sweatshirt and were landing all over him!

Eek!  At least Alex isn't phased by this spider crawling up his arm!

Alex and Sean took in their first Brewers game of the year.  The ballpark never gets old to them. Alex and Dad were back at Miller Park the next night too!  Alex would go to every home game if he had it his way!  The boys also visited Mom at work and treated me to lunch!  I love those boys!!!
Biggest Brewers fans!

Family bike ride on this beautiful afternoon!
They all got some cousin time too!  First, they burned off some energy at Monkey Joes and had a lot of fun.  Then, on Saturday, the kids all went to open gym at M&M gymnastics and bounced, ran and jumped into foam pits!  We finished up the outing with dinner at McDonalds!!

Those were just some of the highlights from this past week. The boys are so lucky to have such a FUN Dad to take them on all of these adventures!
Seanie’s new thing the past few weeks has been picking out his clothes and getting himself dressed.  He says that he wants to look “fancy!” That kid cracks me up!  He’s doing wonderful with his speech and will correct himself to get the right sound out.  I’m so proud of him!
I love my little Seanie Man!
Alex also accomplished something great this week.  After a couple frustrated days and shoes getting thrown across the room, he learned how to tie his shoes!  Way to go, Alex!!!
Look at that perfect bow!!!  Great job, Alex!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter with our families!  It seemed like a week-long holiday with all the Easter festivities of coloring eggs and all the fun egg hunts.  On Thursday, Alex took a field trip with his class to Holy Hill and learned all about Jesus' journey.  Then on Saturday, the cousins all met at Marx park for an Easter Egg hunt and were able to see the Easter Bunny.  We spent Easter Sunday with both of our families and enjoyed ourselves.  We are so blessed!!!

EGGS!!!

We are getting ready for Easter in the Michna household . The boys had fun decorating Easter Eggs on Saturday.  Then we had our Easter egg hunt with the cousins and Papa and Nana’s house.  Alex and Sean couldn’t have been more excited and were counting down the days all week long!  The kids did great and all had a fun time!  Two eggs are yet to be found!

I love my little Seanie :)

Great work, boys!
Two peas in a pod!
We are not letting the cold weather stop us from doing what we love best!  The boys played some baseball in the yard and we even kicked the soccer ball around a bit.  Sean is getting more interested in baseball and is really doing a great job at hitting the ball off the tee.  Alex is gearing up for his baseball season to start now that soccer is over!

No More Snow!

The snow is finally melting away and Spring is getting closer!  Alex's soccer finished up this past weekend.  It was the perfect activity to get us through winter.  Alex had a great time and learned a few more skills along the way.  It was really fun to watch him get better and score a few goals!

We dusted off our bikes and pumped up the tires for our first family bike ride of the year!  Sean's still got his luxury seat but, but before long, he will be learning too!  Alex does great on his bike and really enjoys riding around the neighborhood.  It's a fun activity that gets us all some exercise!

Thanks for the ride, Dad!

Lovin' his bike!

AHH...40 degrees!

Finally, we have some weather that’s tolerable and the boys are able to play outside.  Funny how 45 degrees can feel like summer after a long, cold winter!  Alex and Dad got to play some catch and Seanie dusted off his ol’ Cozy Coupe.  Spring is in the air and we can’t wait for warmer temperatures to come!

This kid can't wait for baseball season to start!

These two are back together again!
This kid LOVES the outdoors!
