Christmas Fun!

Oh my gosh, where do I even begin.  The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of family, friends, food, laughs, presents and seeing the magic of Christmas come alive through a four year old and two year old!  We went to church and then off to Grandpa & Grandma Michna's house for Christmas Eve where we were all so spoiled.  We had so much fun and the boys were bouncing off the walls with excitement of Santa coming that night.

Christmas morning was so much fun!  The boys ripped through the gifts that Santa left them under the tree and Santa did not disappoint.  Alex's list contained Legos, games, baseball and Spiderman stuff.  Seanie loved all the cars he opened and the glow pet and big Lego Zoo.  We were kept busy playing with all the new toys until it was time to leave for our next Christmas celebration!

We finished off Christmas Day at Grandpa & Grandma Beyer's house with all our cousins and aunts and uncles.  The kids had so much fun telling each other about what they got from Santa.  We indulged in so many yummy treats all week and were spoiled by everyone.  We feel so blessed this holiday season to be surrounded by all the people we love!  Merry Christmas!!!

Beyer Christmas

Christmas can be so stressful and overwhelming in getting all the preparations done in time, but when the celebrations roll around, it is totally worth it!  We celebrated Christmas with the Beyer side yesterday and Grandpa & Grandma and everyone else did not disappoint.  The cousins were high on energy and for good reason.  Alex's favorites were his new games and Legos and Seanie loved all the new cars!  We had a wonderful celebration from start to finish!!!

Papa & Nana hung stockings filled with goodies for each grandchild :)

Papa & Nana with the Michna Boys!
The boys have been cooped up inside for so long that we just had to get outside and run around a bit, especially with all the snow on the ground.  Alex practiced diving catches into the snow and Seanie was happy to take his Cozy Coup for a spin again.  They both had a fun afternoon in the snow!
Lovin' the snow!

Yummy!  The snow tastes so good!!

Love these two!!

Christmas Concert

Alex's 4K class at Holy Apostles had their Christmas concert tonight and it was ADORABLE!  Alex was super excited and had been practicing his Christmas songs for the last couple of weeks.  Dave and I were especially excited to see him perform with the other kids and he did fantastic!  They sang their little hearts out and added a few dance moves along the way.  Alex made us a cute ornament to take home which had a picture of him in it wearing Santa's hat.  Great job, Alex!  We are so proud of you!!

Santa / Xmas Cookies

We had breakfast with Santa at Grandma Michna’s work on Saturday morning and the boys couldn’t have been more excited.  Alex asked Santa for some baseball things and Legos and Seanie was just happy to walk away with a stocking filled with goodies!  The boys’ colored pictures and wrote a letter to Santa.  We had a wonderful time!  Thanks for inviting us Grandma!!

We also met our friends, Lauren and Ryan, at M&M gymnastics where the kiddos could run and jump and play.  They had a blast!  We finished off the weekend decorating Christmas cookies.  Alex and Sean were a big help this year and even offered to lick the bowl!
Seanie let out a big "Ho, Ho, Ho" when he saw Santa!

Winter is Here

Time needs to start slowing down, especially right before Christmas.  Too many things on my checklist and not enough time!  St. Nick stopped by our house on Friday morning.  Alex was pumped and St. Nick did not disappoint him.  His favorite was the Spider Man mask and web-making glove.  Seanie would have been happy to have a stocking full of just candy but St. Nick was good to him too with coloring books, crayons and bath toys, among other goodies!

Spidee in action!

Seanie was happy with his snuggly new Angry Birds blankie from St. Nick :)

We had another big milestone for Sean this weekend.  We now changed his toddler bed into a full-size big boy bed and he could not be more upset about it!  We had to move around some furniture in his room too and I think the poor kid is discombobulated.  Nap time hasn't gone well and Sean would prefer to sleep on the floor rather than his bed.  He'll get used to it eventually, but in the meantime, I've been laying with him at night until he falls asleep:)

Not a happy camper!

Getting cozy in his new bed :)

We finished off the weekend decorating our house for Christmas.  Dave and Alex braved the cold weather and brought home a beautiful Christmas tree which we all decorated with ornaments.  Alex and Sean were a huge help and hung most of the ornaments.  (I may be rearranging a few of the clumps later tonight!)  Alex had some fun playing in the first real snowfall of the season and we had a movie night with Tyler and Anna.

Movie Night!

Carefully hanging the ornaments :)

Nice work, Alex!

Seanie loves the singing snowman!
