Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to the most amazing husband on the planet! I feel like the happiest girl in the world being married to you, Babe! The years keep getting better and better, especially now that we have our little Alex Man to enjoy!

Fresh Air

We took advantage of the nice weather this past weekend and spent a lot of time outside. We've all been lovin' the autumn weather and wanted to get our fill before it gets too cold! Alex's new favorite activity is swinging on the swing outside.

Sick Boy:(

Alex has had a cold and it's been lingering for quite some time now. Thursday was probably his worst day with a running nose, watery eyes and bad cough. He's been so sleepy but since he's been getting his rest, he is finally feeling (almost) back to his old self again. Despite being sick, we had a fun weekend watching our Alex Man play and explore the world around him.

Mommy, I'm sick:(

You lookin' at me!?!

Looking out the window and waiting for Daddy to get home.

My legs are getting so strong!

Feeling like his old self again!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Mark!

Mark is celebrating his 11th birthday today! Dave and Ann took him out for a birthday dinner last night at Cafe Hollander in the Tosa Village and then they headed over to Pizzeria Piccola for some yummy gelato. Hope you enjoy your special day and have the best birthday ever!

What's Alex up to these days...

Alex had his 4 month check up today and everything looks great. The doctor said we should keep on doing what we're doing - sounds good to me. Alex now weighs 16.9 pounds and is 26 inches long which puts him in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. He had another series of shots which he was real smiley about until the third poke and the pain set in. The doctor was real impressed by how strong Alex was in holding his head up and sitting up on his own and he thinks we will have an early walker on our hands. Here's what else he's been up to:

We tried Alex in the jumperoo and he really liked it. We'll add that into our rotation of activities!

Look who discovered his piggy toes! With the help of Daddy, he likes to suck on them, along with anything else he can get in his mouth.

Alex is all over the place with his rolling. We really have to keep an eye on him now because we'll turn our back and find him on the other side of the room. Little stinker!

Alex and his cousin, Logan. They're only a year apart and I think Logan is starting to like that there's another boy playmate for him. They are going to be best buds!

Alex and his Daddy. It doesn't get much cuter than this! They adore each other and are constantly making each other laugh!

Grandparents Day!

We had a busy, fun-filled weekend. On Friday, we celebrated my boss' 20th and final "White Open." It was a great run of golf outings over the years so we're sad to see it end but Dave and I really enjoyed our night out. We went to a cookout with friends on Saturday and the weather was beautiful. Everyone brought a 6-pack of "unique" beer so we all could swap and try a little of everything. We had a great time & ended the night with a bonfire.

Today, we celebrated Grandparents Day! We feel so lucky to have so many special and loving people in our lives. Thanks to GM Callahan and GM Dix for all that you do for us! And thanks to GP & GM Michna and GP & GM Beyer for always spoiling our little man. You guys are the best!

I'm 4 months old today!

I'm 4 months old already, can you believe it! Stay tuned for my height and weight stats next week when we see the pediatrican. Have a good week, everyone!

I'm turning into such a big boy, right before your very eyes!

Our daycare lady is on vacation this week so Grandpa Beyer is stepping in. Alex is SO excited to spend some quality time with you, Grandpa! Maybe you can teach him some things in your workshop - it's never to early to learn! Thanks for helping us out this week!!
